System Of A Down & Faith No More
Following the massive sell-out success of their recent EU/UK Summer Stadium Tour Grammy Award-winning rock icons System Of A Down will return to Australia and New Zealand for their first headline tour in over a decade. Bringing with them Faith No More, these events will celebrate two of the most influential and uncompromising bands in rock.
Few bands have defined heavy music like SYSTEM OF A DOWN. Since emerging onto the global stage with their self-titled debut, the four-piece have become one of the most distinctive and impactful bands of the past three decades. Renowned for their ferocious performances and inimitable musicianship, seeing SOAD live is an electrifying experience; equal parts chaos, catharsis and celebration. Australian fans can expect an enormous career-spanning set packed with the songs that have become the soundtrack to generations of rock and metal fans around the globe.
Joining them are the incomparable FAITH NO MORE, whose fearless fusion of alternative rock, metal, funk, punk and experimental music forever changed the landscape of heavy music.

To celebrate the release of his debut album Gentleman, multi-ARIA Award-winning artist Budjerah is taking his soul-stirring, genre-defying fusion of contemporary R&B, classic gospel and shimmering pop music on the road this October and November.
The Gentleman Tour marks an exciting new chapter for Budjerah as he brings his acclaimed new album to the stage alongside fan favourites and songs that have made him one of the country’s most exciting young artists. Expect that angelic, velvet tenor voice he is known for with an added touch of a nostalgic, high-energy 1990s and 2000s funk-pop aesthetic that is sure to delight fans of all ages.

Windwaker
In celebration of the release of their third album Smile, You’re Own Camera, Australia’s genre-bending Windwaker will embark on an Australian headline tour this October/November. The run will see the band joined by special guests and first time visitors The Pretty Wild (US), as well as RinRin and DREGG.
Las Vegas sisters The Pretty Wild will bring their unpredictable mix of metal, hard rock and electronics to Australian audiences for the very first time. Their audacious spirit creates an electrifying force that defies convention. ‘click.” collaborator RinRin also joins the bill. Fusing hyperpop with alt-pop, alt-metal and pop punk, the Filipino-born, Australian-based artist has carved out a lane entirely her own. Opening all shows except Perth are fellow Melburnians and Fearless Records labelmates DREGG. Known for their high-energy fusion of metal, hardcore and rap, their music, visuals, and over-the-top personas serve as a satirical lens on modern culture.

The Croxton Block Party 2026 curated by King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard
The Croxton Block Party returns this October with a huge line-up curated by superstars of Melbourne’s inner north, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Joining them across the weekend are Japanese pop-punk band Shonen Knife, Northern Beaches rock & roll band C.O.F.F.I.N, Heavy Moss, the psych-pop quartet led by King Gizzard’s bassist Lucas Harwood, Byron Bay psych-rock band Babe Rainbow, alongside local favourites Public Figures, Gut Health and ORB, plus sets from Moktar and Stu Mackenzie on the Eurorack, and more.
After a hugely successful launch in 2025, the block party will once again see The Croxton Carpark transform into a mini festival site for the weekend, with two days of incredible music curated by Gizz and capped with mammoth 3-hour King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard sets on both Saturday and Sunday night.

The Corner Hotel 30th Anniversary
This October, The Corner Hotel will celebrate ’30 Years Young’ the only way it knows how: with a six-week series of shows and events featuring artists who’ve helped write The Corner’s story, alongside the next wave making their own mark.
The celebrations continue throughout the month with free Front Bar DJ sets, The Corner Rewind trivia, Drag Bingo, Country Struts boot scooting classes and a host of one-off events celebrating the venue’s place at the heart of Melbourne’s live music community.
For three decades, The Corner Hotel has stood at the heart of Melbourne’s live music scene. It’s watched breakout bands become household names, welcomed hometown heroes before they filled arenas, hosted international icons and given generations of music lovers a place to discover their next favourite band. It’s been home to plenty of pre-gig beers, post-footy celebrations and countless “I was there” moments. Through it all, it’s remained proudly independent, proudly loud and one of the best places in the country to see a band.

Lucy Wise
Award-winning songwriter Lucy Wise returns to Shotkickers to launch ‘V Line’, the first single from her forthcoming new album, ‘Salt’. Lucy Wise creates music that gently opens a door you didn’t realise was closed. Blending contemporary folk and pop sounds, her work combines poetic lyricism with intricate guitar and emotional insight. Inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell and Madison Cunningham, her work sits between the intimacy of traditional folk and the clarity of modern pop.
Local alt-folk artist Flora will be starting off the afternoon with a set of their original songs. Flora emerged in the alt-folk scene as a beacon of optimism and healing, intricately touching on themes of mental health, queer love and remembering home. They masterfully blend indie folk with the soulful tones of alt-country, creating a sound that is uniquely their own.
