Good news for Melbourne music fans: the legendary Britpop outfit Pulp are finally returning down under.
Pulp’s new tour, dubbed the “You Deserve More” Australia & New Zealand leg, kicks off in Auckland on Saturday 21 February 2026, before hitting Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and concluding in Sydney.

It’s hardly a surprise given their announcement of a free performance at Adelaide Festival, however, it’s still exciting for us Pulp fans as the band haven’t visited Australia in over a decade. Fresh off the release of their sensational 2025 album More, the tour will take tracks such as Spike Island and Got to Have Love on the road, alongside cult favourites like Common People. Their live shows have received rave reviews around the world so it’s definitely one not to miss when they finally land on our shores.
Expect plenty of nostalgic Britpop swagger and that theatrical flair for which Pulp are known. Jarvis Cocker hasn’t developed the reputation of an iconic frontman for nothing. Their reunion has already been building momentum internationally, and now Melbourne gets a front-row seat. With the new album in play, it’s not just a greatest hits show — it’s a full-bodied return and I for one can’t wait!
