Tigers Jaw

Three years on from their last Australian visit, Tigers Jaw will return to Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, performing songs that have left an indelible mark on alternative music alongside material from their acclaimed new album. The run includes two Melbourne appearances, including a special performance at the Forum in support of Touché Amoré’s exclusive Australian show celebrating a decade of Stage Four.

A band whose impact across emo, indie and post-hardcore has only deepened with time. They quickly gained attention for their ability to effectively and cooly capture teenage emotions, with equal parts upbeat angst and mellow moodiness. Considered as both pioneers and torchbearers, the alternative music scene’s present moment owes a lot to Tigers Jaw and their contributions to the genre, and they remain one of its most respected and influential names.

Sydney smooth-metallers Inertia are stepping into their next chapter. Fresh off the release of their first new music in two years, the powerful new single “Emerald Whisper”, the band have announced The Emerald Whisper Tour, taking their immersive live show around the country this July and August.

Inertia have forged their path as ones to watch in the global heavy scene, and they tightened their grip on modern metalcore with the release of their debut album Second Shadow. The band bend and break the boundaries of their genre, bringing elements of dark pop and soul to the forefront as they explore the darkest corners of metal music and add to it their own sprinkling of emo pop.
