Dijon
Dijon is coming to Australia for the first time, making his Australian festival debut at Meredith’s Supernatural Amphitheatre and performing huge headline shows across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Dijon brings a six-piece band on the road with him, the same line-up that’s carried his sets through Outside Lands, Sziget, All Points East, and Forwards Festival Bristol this year. Australian audiences will get their first look at it this coming December.
Absolutely, released in 2021, was the kind of first album that makes a ‘sophomore record’ a loaded phrase and appeared on multiple year end best-of lists. The accompanying visual work also did as much to define Dijon as the songs themselves, resetting expectations for what a live performance from a recording artist could look like. Then he disappeared, and the mythology around what would come next did what mythology does: it grew.
Four years later, after he all but vanished from public view to start a family, he put out Baby — the long-rumoured follow-up to a debut that never really left rotation. The album itself keeps the interior, unresolved quality that’s become his signature, but points it somewhere new: new fatherhood, and the disorientation of a life reordered overnight. Across its twelve songs Baby moves between euphoria and something closer to grief, often within the same verse, tracking the mania that comes with everything changing at once.

Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs
Fans who missed out on initial tickets for the Melbourne and Sydney shows have another chance to experience the Kobe-formed outfit’s high-energy live shows at upgraded venues, with the Sydney show relocating from Crowbar to Metro Theatre, and Melbourne shifting from The Night Cat to Northcote Theatre. Tickets to the Brisbane show at Crowbar are selling fast.
Taking place in February 2027, the East Coast run hits venues in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, giving fans the opportunity to experience one of Japan’s most thrilling live bands while also bringing new members into their global, cult-like following as well.

Lotte Gallagher
The Melbourne singer songwriter hits the road this October to celebrate the release of her latest single Wish.
Lotte Gallagher arrived on the scene at just 17 years old as a 2023 triple j Unearthed High finalist. She turned heads with her confident debut EP A Better Feeling, featuring singles ‘Adam’ and follow ups ‘Gray’ and ‘This Room’. Since then, Lotte has graced the stages with an array of impressive acts including The Beaches, Ricky Montgomery, St Vincent, Matt Corby, Holy Holy and Telenova, and played festivals including Laneway, Bass in the Grass, and Party in the Paddock.
With a sound reminiscent of genre leaders Phoebe Bridgers, Angie McMahon and Courtney Barnett, Wish sees Lotte enter a new chapter – a sonic evolution that feels mature and self-assured, ready to step into her own.

Loose Bricks
Following a three and a half year break, Melbourne surf rockers Loose Bricks return rejuvenated and ready to build once more upon a tight foundation of music and successes that have gotten them to this point in their journey. The band will be celebrating the release of latest single Another Day, as well as previewing what is still in store, with a number of Australian shows this November.
For the group of musicians and best mates, this is a stride forward into new territory, embracing maturity in both perspective and songwriting skills; pouring themselves back into the artistry that has earned them a strong following all across Australia.

Two exciting emerging voices in Australasian alt-pop are joining forces for a special co-headline show when Emerson (New Zealand) and Matilda Pearl (Australia) bring the LEAP! On Tour to Melbourne this August.
