Dreadnaught, a cornerstone of the Australian heavy metal scene for over 30 years, have recently released their highly anticipated eighth studio work, “Shutdown in a Heartbeat”. This new release marks a shift in their musical direction, introducing a thrash-inspired sound while maintaining their signature blend of metal and rock. The album offers a heavier, more aggressive approach, with a strong emphasis on thrash-style riffs, intricate keyboards, and an abundance of guitar shredding. It is a significant departure from their previous work, pushing the boundaries of their genre-defying style.
