Review: Top Tea, Box Hill

With three branches now in Melbourne Top Tea is becoming increasingly recognised as one of the best fruit tea/bubble teas you can try.

Top Tea

Cheese tea, fruit tea, cheese fruit tea, milk, momo and ice cream teas – whatever kind of tea you’re after, Top Tea in Box Hill Central has you covered, and that’s before we even get to the frappuccino, yogurt and dessert options they do as well. It’s a small unit just off Main street next to the entrance to the train station, so it’s perfectly located for a quick drink for your commute home, or something to grab in preparation for your shopping day ahead. I also loved the way they displayed the cups filled with fresh fruit as well as other containers of ingredients around the counter tops, it really added a nice boost of colour to the unit and certainly catches your eye as you wander past.

Staff were pleasant and helpful in explaining the different options of their teas, and though it can get a little busy at times with larger queues, the drinks come at a pretty speedy pace and you’re always welcomed with a smile. After having a good look at the menu, and not feeling quite brave enough to try one of their cheese tea varieties, (and also bearing in mind i’d literally just eaten my fill of spicy food), I decided to go for one of their strawberry and raspberry yoghurt teas. This turned out to be a great decision. The lovely thick texture and punchy fruity flavours were beautifully blended and made for an extremely refreshing beverage. We can’t wait to get back and try many of their other options very soon!
