We recently gave Youfoodz another try after a few years’ break, so if you’re ready for some new habits for 2025, maybe it’s time for New Year, New You(Foodz)!
Read on for 5 reasons we think you should try it too:

1. Youfoodz is super convenient
Most of the meals heat up in the microwave in a couple of minutes, so it leaves you plenty of time for those new hobbies, or clearing out the garage like you said you were going to do 100 times last year!
I love cooking, so they’d never replace dinner every night for me, but they fit into my schedule well as work lunches. I’m so time poor at lunchtimes and its often a challenge to make something that heats up easily and is filling, so these are perfect. I also love using Youfoodz meals when I have a busy mid-week evening as they’re such a great no-prep meal before a night out.
2. The meals were yummy
Honestly, I was in a rush when ordering so I ended up just going for the meals the website preselected so I was a bit worried some wouldn’t be to my taste, but I loved every single dish I tried and I’d order them all again. Highlights were the Chicken Shawarma because I enjoyed the spice blend on the chicken and I thought it balanced well with the sides, and the spaghetti bolognaise, which was rich and full of flavour, but still light enough that it was fine as a lunch meal.

3. Youfoodz is filling
Every meal I tried had a generous serve of protein and left me feeling full. I’ve definitely tried meal services like this in the past where I’ve ended up making extras to go with it as it didn’t feel like a complete meal, so it was great that Youfoodz wasn’t like this. All the dishes felt well balanced too, I didn’t feel the need to add something else on the side for variety.
This also means I’m snacking less, which is really helping with some of those health goals!
4. There’s so much choice
There’s gluten free and vegetarian options, as well as a huge range of dishes to cater to different tastes so it’s easy to find something you’ll like. There’s plenty of different cuisines, everything tastes fresh and there’s lots of healthy options too if you’re trying to follow a specific eating plan. As I said above, in my first box I just tried the pre-selected ones because I was in a rush, but the fact I liked all the dishes means I know I’ll have plenty of choices and won’t just have to get the same ones each week.
5. It’s affordable
If you’re always getting take away for a convenient dinner, or buying lunches at work, Youfoodz is a much more affordable option (anyone else made one of those ‘save money’ resolutions this year?!). It varies depending on how many meals you buy, but with our offer you’re looking at around $5 per meal on your first box – way cheaper than you could make these dishes for!
It’s easy to cancel or change your plan (honestly, you just click cancel on the website, it takes two seconds). You can skip weeks too, so there’s no tie-in or long term commitment, which I love as obviously it’s not something I need in school holiday times.

Let me know in the comments if you give it a try (and recommend your fave meals so I know what to get next time!)
