Bands From Back Home

The Lottery Winners

Chart-topping UK indie-pop band The Lottery Winners return to Australia and New Zealand for a headline tour in April 2027, on the back of a massive Australian stadium tour supporting Robbie Williams.

With two Number 1 albums and sold-out tours, the band came from nowhere and put themselves everywhere. And thanks to festival appearances at Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Latitude, and Kendal Calling, The Lottery Winners have cemented themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting bands and one of Britain’s most sought-after live acts.

Festivals & Events

Loud Women Fest

Loud Women Fest Australia 2026 lands in Gadigal/Sydney, Naarm/Melbourne, and Meanjin/Brisbane later this month with lineups that bring together brilliant bands from across Australia with artists travelling from the UK, crossing punk, post-punk, hardcore, grunge, riot grrrl, sludge, indie, noise and alternative rock.

Loud Women started as a little London gig night in 2015 because there simply weren’t enough women and non-binary artists being given space on stages. Eleven years later and it is an international, proudly trans-inclusive and intersectional feminist community that connects DIY scenes, artists and audiences around the world. That connection is at the heart of these international festivals, helping brilliant rising DIY artists find audiences outside their own towns, cities and countries, while giving local scenes the chance to discover bands they might otherwise never cross paths with.

The Local

Set to bring a stacked bill of Australian talent to venues in Frankston and Woodport this summer, new live music series The Local is set to become an unmissable event for music fans in regional Victoria and New South Wales.

The Local is built around a core objective: to celebrate our homegrown talent and provide a platform for live music fans to create new core memories and witness some of the country’s best live bands in their natural element. Held on two Saturdays in January, a line up boasting Skegss, Radium Dolls, and Lucky at Frankston’s Pier Hotel and Erina’s Woodport Hotel, with The Buoys  and Good Sniff joining the lineup at Frankston, whilst The Tullamarines and Liquid Zoo will be performing at Erina.

The Local will also showcase the sounds of each local scene, selecting a band from each region through a publicly held competition. This will give the opportunity for two locals to share a stage with some legends of the Australian music scene.

Australian Artists

Gretta Ray

Fresh from the release of her new album Heartsong, Gretta Ray has announced she will be returning to Australia for a string of capital city shows in early April next year, hitting Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

Audiences will get the chance to experience these new songs live, and while they will be performed with a full band, Gretta plans on making the shows deeply intimate affairs that help build a world that serves to honour and celebrate the new album for what it is. With a considered mix of new tunes and older material from the pop albums that came before, these shows promise to be big nights of sonic emotional whiplash.

Riah

With Ashanti’s upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour only a week away there is an additional buzz in the air with the announcement of Riah as national support for the Australian shows.

The R&B singer/songwriter from southwest Sydney has had a massive few years, making her impact on the Australian scene in a short, but prolific period of time. A proud Pasifika and Indigenous Australian woman, Riah’s deep connection to her identity and culture (she is of Tongan, Fijian, Italian and Kamilaroi descent) has informed each step she has taken as an artist to date.

Tickets remain for Ashanti’s long-awaited Australian and NZ return, with a waitlist available for fans in Melbourne who missed the initial opportunity to grab their tickets. As a change to her schedule, the Melbourne show on Saturday 14 November is now taking place at the brand new live music venue, Crown LIVE.
