International Acts

Prince Daddy & the Hyena /  Macseal

New York punk and indie rock acts Prince Daddy & the Hyena and Macseal will make their Australian debut this July, joining forces for an exciting eight-date co-headlining tour. The tour arrives hot on the heels of Prince Daddy & the Hyena’s highly anticipated fourth LP announcement, Hotwire Trip Switch.

Since forming out of Albany’s DIY scene, Prince Daddy have built a career out of reaching their breaking point. On Hotwire Trip Switch, they recalibrate and reconnect with their roots while sounding more focused than ever, evolving towards more refined, melodic, and deliberate songwriting, with plenty of the rough and raw punk elements that built the band up in the first place.

Long Island indie rockers Macseal have built a reputation for making expertly crafted indie rock that bridges the gap between emo and power-pop, resulting in a coffee-fuelled 2000s coming-of-age sound that energises audiences, encouraging them to crowd surf and nod along.

A stacked lineup of local supports will join the tour along the way, with emo rock favourites Talk Heavy appearing in Brisbane, indie post-punk trio Trophy Wyfe in Newcastle, punk rockers Amends in Sydney, shoegaze icons Paint in Melbourne, indie-emo three-piece Townhouse in Adelaide, and WAM Award-winning alt-rock outfit About Yesterday in Perth. Joining every show except Perth will be Australian folk-rock songstress, Suzi.

Hoodoo Gurus

One of Australia’s most enduring and beloved musical acts, Hoodoo Gurus, will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the band’s formation with the Hoodoo Gurus Rewind Tour – All Killer, No Filler in November and December 2026, including a special performance at Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens for Live at the Gardens on Sunday 6 December. Joining the Gurus on all shows are one of our most influential indie pop-punk bands, Sydney’s Ratcat, celebrating their 40th anniversary as a group, along with Perth’s legendary arbiters of garage rock, The Stem

Hoodoo Gurus occupy a singular place in Australian – and international – rock’n’roll history. Formed in Sydney in 1981 by members of seminal ’70s Australian punk bands The Victims and Fun Things, the Gurus fused garage rock grit with pop smarts, sharp songwriting and an unrepentant love of classic rock’n’roll. Across four decades, they  have amassed 10 ARIA Top 20 albums, nine Top 40 singles and multiple platinum certifications, while remaining one of Australia’s most formidable live acts – they are the vital and revered elder statesmen of Australian rock.
