East Malvern Food and Wine Festival
On Sunday 18th November the East Malvern Food & Wine Festival returns to picturesque Central Park for its 3rd year. This fab event is free to attend with food and wine packages starting from just $20!
Featuring over 70 stallholders, 8 live entertainers and various exclusive dining areas for festival fans, it’s the ideal way to relax and feast away your Sunday. With a focus on local food and wine, there’ll be a vast range of wines from 20 Victorian Wineries including Turners Crossing, Red Edge, Linnaea Vineyards, Rob Dolan Wines, Chambers Rosewood Vineyards, Trenthan Estate and Montalto to name just a few. Alongside this there will be a craft beer and cider produces alley with the likes of Coldstream Brewery, Yulli’s Brew and Bad Shepherd Brewing co.
Food wise there’s a whole host of options including Rivers Wine Store. Bar. Dining, who will be serving up a delicious central-European inspired signature menu (you’ll find this in the Festival’s exclusive Aperol Spritz outdoor lounge and bar.) For something a little more casual, try one of the awesome food trucks or pop-ups from local favourite restaurants including Richmond Oysters & Seafood Tapas, 48h Pizza Gnochhi and Nepal Dining.
Once you’re full, make sure you take a walk around the local produce stalls to stock up your pantry. The list is almost endless with Puds for all Seasons, Cannings Free Range Butchery, Goldfields Farmhouse Cheese, In2Tea, Boondero Walnuts, Cuvee Chocolate, Cider Tonic, Made by Katherine, A Thousand Trees, Sticky Balsamic, Red Rock Olives, Nogo Sauces, and many more setting up stall with everything from locally produced cheese to bespoke Christmas puddings.
Finally, there’s plenty of entertainment for your little ones including live music performances and magician masterclasses from the local Magic School of Confidence. There’s even gourmet doggie morsels from the Canine Wellness Truck!
