About These New South Whales
Formed in 2011, These New South Whales are an Australian punk-rock powerhouse known for their high-energy music and absurdist humor. Moving beyond their DIY roots in Sydney, the foursome—Jamie Timony, Todd Andrews, Will Shepherd, and Frank Sweet—gained cult status through their Comedy Central mockumentary series and hit podcast, What A Great Punk. With ARIA-nominated albums like TNSW and their 2025 release Godspeed, they have evolved into a premier post-punk force.
