ARIA #1 artist Meg Mac announces her fourth studio album “It’s My Party”, set for release on February 20 and available for pre-order now. Written and recorded between London and Los Angeles, the album marks a vivid new chapter for Meg – one defined by creative freedom, collaboration and joy.

Produced by acclaimed UK producer Bullion (Carly Rae Jepsen, Ben Howard), “It’s My Party” is an eclectic alt-pop record that sees Meg letting go of rigidity in favour of instinct and play. What began as a tightly controlled vision evolved into something far more expansive.
“I thought I had this whole album planned out – I was going for this dark, witchy vibe and I was SO serious,” Meg says. “Then honestly, not one thing went to plan and I was forced to let go for once in my life.” That release became central to the album’s emotional core. “I’ve spent most of my career being stressed, but somehow I stopped trying to control it all and found the magic in collaboration, being open and not worrying so much.”
“It’s My Party” reflects a meeting of worlds. Meg credits her partnership with Bullion as transformative. “I’m forever grateful to Bullion. Our paths crossed in London and he taught me to follow creativity and fun, and not to worry – and I love what we’ve made together.”
The album features recent singles ‘He Said No’, ‘Tune I’ll Be Singing Till I’m Dead’, ‘Sometimes’, and new track ‘Outdone’ – a moody, atmospheric song that highlights Meg’s unmistakable vocal power. This one does lean into those darker textures that Meg was initially hoping would be central to the release, however, this is set amongst a more eclectic, joy filled final incantation of “It’s My Party”.

It’s My Party Australia Tour 2026
To celebrate the release, Meg Mac will take “It’s My Party” on the road with a national theatre tour, following three sold-out performances at Belvoir Street Theatre late last year. More recently Meg had been playing a run of unannounced pop-up shows at bars around the country, often revealed less than 12 hours before doors. The short-notice gigs have consistently drawn strong turnouts, offering fans a rare chance to see Meg in stripped-back, close-quarters settings and underscoring the demand for her return to the stage.
This theme is set to continue with her latest tour, five shows across February to April at intimate theatre settings in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide . Developed in collaboration with award-winning director and lighting designer Alexander Berlage, the forthcoming live theatre show transcends the traditional concert format, offering an intimate evening that blends music, storytelling and moments of lightness and fun. These shows will invite audiences inside Meg’s creative world, presenting her most personal performances yet while reimagining songs from the new album alongside highlights from her acclaimed catalogue.
Tour dates:

Sydney: February 27 – York Theatre, Seymour Centre
Melbourne: March 14 – Merlyn Theatre, Malthouse Theatre
Brisbane: March 20 – Powerhouse Theatre, Brisbane Powerhouse
Perth: March 28 – Octagon Theatre, UWA
Adelaide: April 1 – Dunstan Playhouse, Adelaide Festival Centre
