Bio
Fountain Lakes are Jac Tonks and Emma Heeney. With playful songwriting and lush harmonies, the pair create the romance and foreboding of girl groups of the 1960s, their songs are both sweet and dark cautionary tales.
In 2025, Fountain Lakes celebrated the release of their first single ‘Dreams’ to a sold out bandroom at Northcote’s iconic Wesley Anne, the accompanying music video premiered on ABC TV’s RAGE, and the single enjoyed plenty of radio play on PBSFM and 3RRR. The pair also played their first international support, opening for Irish band DUG on the Melbourne leg of their Australian tour.
Fountain Lakes are due to release an their debut EP, Junkyard of Lost Hearts in August this year, before heading to Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland for a music residency at the Fish Factory Creative Centre to write their debut album.
