Danish Nosh, Caulfield

Why did it make the list: With almost everything hand made on site, Danish Nosh pull out all the stops with their pastries. Now adding a new brunch menu for 2019, they’re definitely a must try.

Why did it make the listThis friendly cafe has its heart in exactly the right place. They’re always innovating and trying new dishes on the specials board and keen to make every visit a great one. It’s sure to put a smile on your face.

Why did it make the list: We thought a relaxing brunch in Fitzroy was a thing dreams were made of, but Louis manage it in their charming, elegant cafe. It’s a real different feel for a Fitzroy cafe, and the food is delicious too!

Suzie Scribbles’ insider tip: Their coffee (and barista) are both award winning, so make sure you grab a cup to go with your meal!

Shanklin, Hawthorn

Why did it make the list: If being voted top cafe in Melbourne on Zomato isn’t a good enough reason, they’ll bring you lots of laughs and innovative dishes too! They’ve got that rare combination of experience and passion. Be warned, brunch at Shanklin can get a little addictive.
